We are very sad to hear about the passing of artist Vladimir Tamari who we featured in our Palestine issue of the magazine back in December. Palestinian filmmaker Mohanad Yaqubi recently interviewed him about his fascinating life and work and made this video for us while he was in a hospital in Tokyo. Tamari was a celebrated artist of the Palestinian diaspora who lived out the later half of his life in Tokyo with his wife Kyoko and two daughters.
